Yubiao Xu's Tencent Incubator is not your typical office space. Located in Guangzhou, China, this 5,000 square meter space is designed to foster creativity and innovation. The Tencent Incubator focuses on content creation, combining various forms of offline space and online capabilities to create a comprehensive incubator that caters to entrepreneurs' needs for capital, venue, users, growth, technology, marketing, and traffic.

The office space is constructed from wood, artificial marble, and wall plastic, creating a harmonious blend of materials. A large area of natural lighting is incorporated to create a warm and inviting atmosphere. The use of yellow as a highlight color adds a vibrant touch to the space, while the staggered connection of the ground, wall, and ceiling maintains visual unity and stimulates the imagination.

The design process began in February 2018 and was completed in November of the same year. The project's primary challenge was not the form or spatial domain image, but the experience. Yubiao Xu believes that office space should not be a bondage or a confusion of manufacturing thinking, but should provide convenience and assistance to its users. This belief guided the design process, resulting in a space that is both functional and enjoyable.

The Tencent Incubator is not just an office space; it's a versatile open space designed for large conferences, product launches, coffee breaks, and co-working. Irregularly shaped areas are interconnected to create an interesting indoor office space. Every day, new experiments, new ideas, and new inventions happen here. This design is not just about skill, but about capturing the essence of things and creating an experience.

This revolutionary design approach has not gone unnoticed. The Tencent Incubator was awarded Silver in A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award in 2019.
